How about :

Not Guilty
Ultra Rare Trax, Vol. 1
Unsurpassed Masters Vol 7 (1962-1969)
Documents Vol. 3

I am somehow sure it is likely
on some more albums which were
originally bootleg.

I used to have the two EP version of Magical Mystery Tour, and do not recollect "Penny Lane"'s inclusion amongst the songs. Are you sure that you are correct, Georgia? Wink

Ritz, Penny Lane is track 9....between "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "Baby You're a Rich Man".

This intrigues me! Obviously 35-plus years have addled my brains. I have to be wrong, as you are both so sure...I well remember 'Blue Jay Way', which I think was written by George Harrison, and 'Your Mother Should Know'.I thought I knew the other songs from different sources. I did have the double EP as I have said. Were the songs exactly the same as those on the LP? (book a bed in Bedlam for me, Jenny, will you?) Eek

If you had a double EP I don't think it was Magical Mystery Tour as that was just a single EP.
Check out Magical Mystery Tour
track listings from Amazon.

Ritz, I still have that Magical Mystery Tour Book with the two maxi-singles in mint condition. It is, as you said, mono, but they are not EPs. An EP has two tracks each side, these have one on the 'a' side and two on the 'b' side.
I'll try and think of the six tracks without digging the thing out! Magical Mystery Tour, Your Mother Should Know, I Am The Walrus, The Fool On The Hill, Blue Jay Way and Flying.
In the US, Magical Mystery Tour was an album which did indeed have Penny Lane on it.

Excellent memory, Blam! Yes, that is how I remember the album. And I think that 'Flying' was an instrumental, although with some 'oohs' and 'aah's' added...happy days...! Wink
