alright you remember the band chicago?
they made a song called 25 or 6 to 4. I've listened to it over and over again. I can't figure out what it's about. Anybody got any idea?

There's been eternal debate about this. Most people now seem to accept that it's a reference to the time, i.e. twenty-five or six minutes to four in the morning as the songsmith (Robert Lamm) struggles with his art and tries to get a completed song down on paper. And it seems that he himself bore this out in several interviews. This link makes fascinating reading and is a good insight in how myths arise and how various "meanings" can be attributed to rock songs.
