Brown a chicken leg quarter, then microwave it to finish it. Along with the chicken, put about 8-10 ounces of water with a bag of mixed frozen vegetables in it. Remove the chicken when done, and continue bring the water to a boil. When boiling, pour the water and veggies over 3 or 4 packages of Ramen noodles in a large bowl. While the veggies are cooking, tear the meat (use a knife or fork if necessary) off the chicken and add it to the bowl. Add a few dashes of teriyaki sauce, garlic and onion powder, and the seasoning pack from one (only one) of the Ramen packages. Your total cost will be about $2, and the nutritious meal should satisfy two teenage boys. Notes: If no teriyaki sauce, use soy sauce and a bit of brown sugar. If you don't have the chicken, you can drain a can of tuna and use it. You can also use any left-over meat and/or veggies. See Ramen Noodle Soup? Hot or Cold in the recipe section of AP's Kitchen, under Soups and Stews, for more cheap inexpensive Ramen ideas.
