I posted this over at DP but thought it fitting to post it over here in the cooking section of AP too.

Julia Child, cooking legend passed away early Friday Morning in her sleep at the age of 91. Three days before her 92nd Birthday.

Julia Child had her first public cooking show in 1963 with "The French Chef". ASince then she has written many cookbooks and had 8 cooking shows such as 1978's Julia Child & Company, 1989's The Way to Cook & 1993's Cooking with Master Chefs.

I remember watching Julia as a child. She was my inspiration. She had me watching her show all the time and got me interested in cooking. She showed me the art of cooking at a young age and I grew to love it.

Rest In Peace, dear sweet Julia. You will Sorely be missed!
