i just have to tell you all about the best turkey I have ever had. My friend has one of those rottisserie things that you see during those late nights on infomercials, you know what I mean. Anyway, she told me to get a turkey and she would cook it for me in this thing. She loosened the breast and leg skin and rubbed the meat wih olive oil, sage, basil, thyme and garlic. Put the turkey in the machine and cooked it 12 minutes per pound. It was a 13 pound bird so it took, well , somewhere around 2 1/2 hours. THIS THING WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never tasted meat sooooo tender and tasty, and with no salt added. The skin was crispy and was full of the oil and spices taste, but with no grease or fat whatsoever. If you get a chance you must get one of these things and try it. From what she tells me there is an endless number of things you can use it for and it is healthy cooking too.

I've wanted one of those for months & just have never gotten around to it. My sister in law has one that she says I can borrow any time, but I don't like doing that in case I break it or something. I WILL have my Rotiserre Cooker someday, and then maybe I won't demand a rotiserre on our next bbq grill smile

My husband and I received one(the george foreman) for christmas from my in-laws last year. We love it!! It has these claw like things that will hold split chicken breasts w/ribs. They taste great!! We haven't did a turkey yet. Did a small chicken the other day. I'm looking forward to being able to use my oven for other things on thanksgiving this year.

Use Emeril's Bam seasoning all over and stuff cavity with onions, garlic, and lemon. Great stuff!

But to tell the truth I put it outside because the heat coming from the Showtime cooker is awful. The whole kitchen heats up, plus with a toddler around I can't keep her from trying to touch it, so I stick it in the garage or the back porch.
