For years I have always used Bisquick for both waffles and pancakes.

Is there a better quick mix?

Not in my opinion, but I do add a drop of vanilla. There IS one brand I like 2nd best, Krusteez, I'm not sure of the spelling, I'm too lazy to walk upstairs, But it is definitely Krust____! I like it because you only need to add water, which is great when you are in bind.

I don't think there is a better mix. I have tried the store brands and have not had the luck I do with Bisquick. It is so convenient and handy to have. You can whip up anything from a casserole to cookies with this miracle stuff. If I were you, I wouldn't even think of trying another brand.

I buy the genric brand. That you just have to add water, I keep this around for when the power goes out, I can cook outside or for camping it is also great. comes in orginal or buttermilk. I like the buttermilk the best.

Thru years of trying, Bisquick is the best , with Jiffy comming in a distance second....For the liquid, instead of using all what they say, subsitute about half of it with beer.... roll eyes

I use Pioneer Bisquit Mix, it comes in regular or buttermilk. I don't have any at this time so I don't know what state produces it but it is good.
My Mom used it when I was a kid so it has been around a pretty long time.
