If you click on Find (between Post and Notify, right above the first post on any page, you can search for any word or phrase on AP. I searched for Jerk, and found the recipe for jerk seasoning in Sauces, Gravies, Marinades & Rubs.

Jamaican Jerk Rub

To be honest, it's easier to use a pre-packaged seasoning. I use McCormick's, and I use it about 3 or 4 times a week, almost always on chicken. I just put some teriyaki sauce on the chicken, then the jerk seasoning, and then toss it on the Fireman. 10-2 minutes later, it's done. Rice, in any form, is a good side for this.

Hey thanks for that. I just copied that recipe.
Any suggestions for some good side dishes with this Jerk Chicken? I know that Jerk Chicken is a Jamaican dish which I know nothing about. I wonder if there are any good Jamaican side dishes that someone knows how to make?

He doesn't want one in an ad from the Cotswolds !
Free ads? Not on this site !

You people might learn not to start with 'DorianGreyed' and 'Hi DorianGreyed'.We know it's an ad. Besides, you two have not been formally introduced.

I HATE cutesy froufrou cooking equipment. Cooking is work, and pots, pans, spoons, etc. are the tools of the trade. You'd never see a carpenter with pretty apple blossoms painted on his tools.
