Ok Now I need to know how to cook the navy beans I have here? Can I put them in the crock pot with some ham?

Sammy if you even FEEL you need anything else, a nice salad would do....but with beans and cornbread, not much else is needed!

I like sliced tomatoes, sprinkled with salt and vinegar as a side dish with beans and cornbread. Okra is good too. The tomatoes are better at room temperature.

LOL Sammy, you don't know what okra is. Once you see the picture of okra on Tree's link, you'll probably remember seeing it in the supermarket.
Thanks for the link Tree, because I didn't know the origin of Okra. I like fried cut okra, battered in meal, but I usually boil them whole, and sprinkle with salt and butter.
