trixkala Platinum Enthusiast	Posted Hide Post Providing that the seal is still intact, the contents are considered safe. HOWEVER, for best quality, use home canned foods within one year. Better to be safe than sorry....throw then out, I would not eat them. Next time, pass the jars along to family and friends as gifts, or share some of the garden bounty with your area soup kitchen or food pantry.

I had them stuck in a closet wayyyy in the back and completely forgot about them. What a waste of beans AND time!!! Thanx again.
