I have this really delicious bread receipe that is made from scratch. It is an Italian Whole
Wheat bread. The thing is tho is that it only makes 1 loaf. What would happen if I went ahead & doubled all the ingrediants & made 2 loaves? Would it hurt it any mixing it all in one bowl & everything? I have doubled other receipes before but not sure about bread. I really love to cook but i'm just not very smart when it comes to stuff like tihs.
Thanx in advance, Esencia

Go ahead and double the recipe....it should be fine. Afterall, bakeries make large batches all the time. Depending on the weather, you may have to adjust the moisture content or the time allowed for raising, but the recipe should be just fine doubled or tripled.

Thank You! I doubled it anyway & you are right. I'm sure it'll turn out just fine. Like I said I'm not very smart & never thought well gee people such as bakers do it all the time!
thanx again! Esenica
