According to the official Sweetnlow website

http://www.sweetnlow.com/faqs/index.html

1 cup sugar = 24 packets, or 8 teaspoons dry SNL

But if this is for cooking, you'll have to do some experimenting and may not be able to use sweet and low at all because that is just the sweetness equivalence, and sugar has more of an effect than just sweetening when it comes to cooking.

Hi Kittypal,

After trying most of the artificial sugars, "Splenda'" is the best for sweetening. No after taste. As mentioned, none of the substitutes are perfect for baking.

Aspartame tastes good in hot and cold food, but cooking breaks it down. ADA (American Diabetes Assn) says its safe in normal amounts. Some feel it turns into poison in the body.

If you or anyone finds anything better, let this diabetic know.
