I am trying to make my own scented oils to use in bath salts. The problem I'm having is retaining the scent of the plant I am using. If I were to boil mint in water it will smell and taste very very strongly of mint. If I simmer mint in oil it smells....weird...not at all minty. Is there anyway I can make my own scented oils?
