Any 'clock people' out there? I've got a Seth Thomas battery operated mantle/table clock that works sometimes. It has the word Clamatic (maybe Clomatic) above the numeral VI. It was originally brass. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks folks!

By any info, do you mean value ? If so, there is basically no value to a battery operated clock, reguardless of make, that works only part time...Don't bother trying to find someone to fix it, cause you can buy new works for less than 10 bucks....

Here are some they are selling on ebay. Maybe yours in is there and you can see what others are selling it for. A lot of people listing clocks have info on them in their listing.

Actually the clock was an award I received back around 1970 and it is a pretty cool clock, but if it doesn't work it's just a paper weight. It would be nice to fix it, but I'm sure a professional repair bill would far exceed the value of the thing. I've looked all over the 'net and haven't see this particular model so I thought I'd ask here since members seem to know about everything.

Here is a list of some corporate gift clocks. Is it one of these? A brass clock with roman numerals is pretty vauge. Are there numbers on the back of the clock? Is there a way you take a picture and post it here? Any other info would help.
Seth Thomas has a website where you can email them your question. They do not repair clocks more than a year old. They might be able to tell you the type of clock you have so you can get some over the phone quotes from clock repair shops. Most clock repair shops give free estimates. If having the clock working is important to you and will bring joy to your life then it would be well worth the money. It sounds like you are very proud of the clock. If it were me, I would get it fixed and display it.
