Anyone have a website that describes how to embroider on clothing? I've looked but can't find anything helpful. I have a sewing machine, but it's kinda old and I don't think it'll do the trick.

If you have never done embroidery before, I would suggest using iron-on transfer patterns that you can get at a craft/fabric store or Walmart. Another hint always use an embroidery hoop.

Inspires me to finish some embroidery projects I started years ago...

I know this is an old thread (LOL) but it brought memories of a pair of jeans I owned a gazillion years ago. I embroidered SOOOOOO many things on them - and when it was time to dispose of them, due to the ragged condition, it was tough! I absolutely LOVED those jeans and cut out the embroidered parts and used them for patches on other jeans in the future.....
