Anyone have a website that describes how to embroider on clothing? I've looked but can't find anything helpful. I have a sewing machine, but it's kinda old and I don't think it'll do the trick.

Do you mean how to embroider on your clothing by hand?

(BTW, welcome to Answerpool!)

Hello Lady Melinoe. Welcome to the Pool! Smile

The following site has directions for all kinds of embroidery stitches.

Embroidery Stitch Diagrams

If you have never done embroidery before, I would suggest using iron-on transfer patterns that you can get at a craft/fabric store or Walmart. Another hint always use an embroidery hoop.

I know this is an old thread (LOL) but it brought memories of a pair of jeans I owned a gazillion years ago. I embroidered SOOOOOO many things on them - and when it was time to dispose of them, due to the ragged condition, it was tough! I absolutely LOVED those jeans and cut out the embroidered parts and used them for patches on other jeans in the future..... Roll Eyes

That's quite an extensive site, Jersey!
