My sisters and I are planning a family cruise in a couple of years (7 of us girls & various husbands/significant others & children (youngest is 10) and the discussion turned to their cruise experiences (I've never been).
Can't remember the cruise line, but 3 of them remembered the towel origami figures they found on their beds every day.
I'm intrigued! Anyone know how to do it? Any sites/books you know of? I did a Google search and found www.britishorigami.org.uk but no specific info about "towel origami". I only found someone else's request for info.
I've got a paper origami book, but it couldn't possibly work the same given the restrictions of towel sizes (washcloth, hand, fingertip, bath, etc.)
Info please!

Brought back memories for me too Tree. My Grandmother used to make dolls and animals out of face towels and cloth's and those old fashioned dishrags when I was a child. Wish I'd had the sense to learn how myself now!

Actually, what I'm talking about is rolling/folding towels in to fanciful shapes for decoration. You unfold them to use them, but they look nicer than just having your towels hang there.
It's a big thing on cruises, for cabin stewards to make animals and shapes out of the towels when they bring you clean ones. I'd love to know how.
