When I worked for hospice, I went to a great number of funerals and viewings.
As a way to remember people who touched my life I saved many of the little 'announcement' cards.
I am looking for a way to save them, but keep them from fading with age and falling apart.
I thought about putting them into a 'scrapbook' but these are the little booklets that have the picture on the outside and the words, poetry etc on the inside.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Shel...if you want to keep them for a long time, you may want to consider laminating them. As long as laminated in thin plastic, there should be no problem with the center fold bending easily.
I'm envisioning a scrapbook...with the back of the card attached to a page and the front page of the card loose. (But with the entire card protected by plastic)
You have fine scrapbooking skills...I could see you putting one or two per page and writing memories on the page that the card is attached to...so you can look at it years from now and be reminded why that person was so special to you.
An acid free paper box that has a lid and separate the cards with acid free paper dividers. If you write on the dividers so that you can locate the cards easily then you will best avoid getting the oils from your fingers onto the cards which is what will cause the most damage aside from acid in paper or sunlight. I think this is an easy way to go and it will conserve them better than the false sense of security that plastic will give you.
