1 peak production already passed in this state

2 Canadian statistics are complicated by the fact it is both an importer and exporter of crude oil, and refines large amounts of oil for the U.S. market. It is the leading source of U.S. imports of oil and products, averaging 2.5 MMbbl/d in August 2007. [2].

Total world production/consumption (as of 2005) is approximately 84 million barrels per day (134,000 m³/d).

I'm sorry, I don't know what Iraq sells its oil for, or to whom. But it is clear that our friends, the Sauds, control much more oil than Iraq, and more than anyone else. If only we knew someone who could just talk to those people, "jawbone" them in some way to lower prices. Do you know anyone with connections to the Saudi royal family?

Iraq does have the second largest reserves of oil in the world at 112 billion barrels. Iraq also has a possible 100 billion barrels in areas as yet unexplored and unexploited.[Source: US Energy Information Administration] This makes her of great interest to any industrialised power, the US included

Back in the month of December 2002 Iraq exported 11.3 million barrels to the US. At that time this figure put her on a par with the United Kingdom (11.7 million)in oil exports to the US. Other countries exporting to the US in that month included Saudi Arabia (56 million), Venezuela (20.2), Nigeria (19.3), Kuwait (5.9),Mexico (53.8), Norway (4.5) and Canada (46.2). Can't say whether this month was typical
