WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A New York congressman who admitted to fathering a child out of wedlock with a woman who bailed him out of jail on a drunk driving charge this month announced Monday that he will not run for re-election. - CNN

In the comments section about this article, someone from New York said that he ran on a "family values platform." Roll Eyes

The Democrats currently hold a 236-199 majority in the House. Rep. Vito Fossella, a six-term Republican, is the 30th Republican to announce they would not seek re-election.

Look for that majority to grow. Republicans, though typically outnumbered in registered voters, have been strong by being more unified. It is no longer unified, and is in a bit of a mess, apparently standing for ... nothing.
