Leading the way on creating new standards for cutting back emissions contributing to Global Warming problem.

But I must ask this. What is there to gain from this??? In a sense I am actually glad to see this. This will be a make or break example on what can happen when a government tries to abide by standards similar to the Kyoto Accord. Now over the next few years we get to see what can really happen to an economy that strives to implement such policies. I predict California's losses will be someone elses gain...

Good luck then. The expectations of Kyoto were undoable.

For which I agree. Now we will have a test to actually see what happens to a state economy that actually tries to implement such policies. I suspect in 20 years from now, California will no longer hold the economic distinction it enjoys today.
