With as close as Indiana was tonight....I hope I wake up tomorrow morning with a speech on the news from Hillary - saying "Thank you so much my friends - darn, we tried" and that she just goes away.

She would gain alot more sympathy by bowing out gracefully so that MAYBE she could run in 2012 (oh gee, isn't that the year that the world is supposed to come to an end?...12/21/12?)

Yes it's close...but I have confidence my state will go with Obama...and the superdelegates will as well.

I think Hillary's little victory speech was premature Razz

Go Barack!

Obama sure did come back strong yesterday, after weeks of issues that got him a little off track and a miserable debate performance. There seemed to be a renewed spring in his step as he gave an excellent victory speech in North Carolina.

His victory here, in NC, was larger than predicted ty the talking heads. I think Hillary's money crunch is becoming a problem. Obama's campaign efforts here were far better than hers.

Hillary has made a claim that she wins in the large states that often vote Democratic. Won't these tend to go Obama's way, too? What I have noticed is that Obama seems to be more capable in the "red" states which presents Democrats an opportunity to steal a few in the national election.

I honestly think she should hang it up. Ture, an Obama mis-step might compel superdelegates to her side. However, he has been far ahead in the numbers game for some time ... I think she has to take something like 2/3 of the remaining delegates and uncommitted superdelegates to win. This may be possible but could cause a huge meltdown in the Party.

Neither one of them is immune from committing a mis-step; but the likelihood of the newcomer doing so is greater. For that reason I think the interest of a democrat win is better served by keeping the race for the nomination going as long as there is no clear winner. For Hillary to withdraw now, I can just forsee the Republicans unveiling some "smoking gun" which they've been holding in reserve until it's too late to counter. Why take the advice of your opponents? Confused

Hi Gang:

Only one way Hillary leaves the race...kicking and screaming!!!

Hillary and Bill don't care what happens to the Democrats...they only care what happens to Hillary and Bill.

If they destroy the Democrat party in the process, they don't care.

Just as long as Hillary and Bill survive ...that's all that matters.

I will have to agree that Hillary will not give it up. She will hang on to the bitter end. However the handwriting is on the wall...
