The Bush White House is claiming that 5,000,000 e-mails, including all e-mails from Karl Rove prior to 2005 are 'missing'.
Sen. Leahy as much as said the White House is lying.
Turns out that dozens of staffers, including Rove, were using e-mail accounts provided by the RNC, possibly to keep them from being archived as presidential records, as is required by law.
What started as an investigation into the firings of some United States Attorneys is mushrooming into something much larger, bringing to light some nefarious BushCo schemes.
Almost every day now, a new scandal unfolds - I can hardly wait to see what's next!

I always wonder why I have to follow laws I don't like when people in the Bush administration can just pick and choose the laws that they want to follow...
"Some executives at Enron found that out the hard way a few years ago. Some people in the White House -- who seem to have deleted important messages that they shouldn't have -- may be on their way to making the same discovery."
I guess "I forgot" doesn't cut it anymore. You have to say "I accidentally erased all my e-mails, destroyed the back up tapes and trashed the hard drives..."
