NEW YORK (AP) -- President Bush took aim Wednesday at huge salaries and bonuses for corporate executives, going to Wall Street to say compensation packages should hinge on how good a job a CEO does for the shareholders.
********************
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

The 3 branches of the federal government are the Legislative, Judicial, and Executive. The President is the head of the Executive branch. HE is the CEO of the United States. Does bush understand that? How much does he plan to pay US (the taxpayers) back?

"...the salaries and bonuses of CEOs should be based on their success at improving their companies and building value for their shareholders."

Success? Improving? Building value? Most people think he's done "a heck of a job" in that regard.

(By the way, under busdh's firm stewardshiop, Germany has joined Italy as one of two countries that have issued warrants for "suspected" CIA agents for their roles in kidnappings, which the US terms "renditions.")
