Let's see how she and Obama perform in the debates.Obama is quite the best speaker that you could ever hope to hear, but how good is he going to be if he's pressured about matters like foreign policy or taxation ? Surely Mrs Clinton must be able to prove her much vaunted 'experience' by showing that she is in full command of her brief. You've no idea what fun it is to be a politically minded foreigner watching all this from thousands of miles away. We get all the fun without any of the responsibility for deciding anything (Do you think, as a favour, you could keep it going until, say, November? I know that's a lot to ask, when a general election takes only thirty days from start to finish, and selecting a candidate should take only days, but, if you could, it would take our minds off the British Summer )

Meanwhile, it's interesting already Now for Tuesday and New Hampshire. The Times (London)says that Obama has initially registered a 10 per cent lead over Clinton there. Pundits (on Fox News: we right wingers stick together ) say that Clinton will win there, nonetheless. Hmm. What is interesting is that New Hampshire appears to have just the kind of electorate that Obama won over to his cause in Iowa. Not that the two states have similar electorates overall, but Obama has shown that he appeals to the young and to undecided voters and got them out in vast numbers in Iowa, these being people who were not expected to turn out at all. That sounds to be an appeal which Obama has and Hillary Clinton doesn't and which is universal, rather than local . New Hampshire reportedly has many more voters who are 'independents' than Iowa had. Fun, ain't it?

______________________________________________ Hi Frank: Hillary's repeated claim of 35 years of experience is a lie! During Bill Clinton's 8 years as President,Hillary was his wife[not an elected office]. During Bill's years as Governor,Hillary was his wife[Also not an elected office]. Hillary's actual experience is 7 years as a Senator from New York[her actual years of experience]. So her claim of 35 years of experience is a flat out lie! hippolips

Here's the current (Jan 6th) state of the Times of London online poll for New Hampshire. This is how Times readers judge the candidates, each choosing a candidate from each side: FOR: Clinton: 22.6% Obama : 56.1% Others: no significant percentage This may not be 100% sound if it's of the same value as the poll for Republicans: FOR Ron Paul: 53.7% McCain : 19.2% Giuliani: 10.4% Others : no significant percentage Methinks that Times readers worldwide are Democrat sympathisers with a sense of humour !
