Apparently, a recent poll showed that 26 percent of Israelis support a withdrawal to the 1967 borders, while 66% oppose such a move. Twenty-six percent is a significant minority. Another poll says that only 10% of the 'Palestinian diaspora... ...want to return to Israel proper' .

Could a withdrawal to 1967 borders work - could it provide the kind of lasting agreement that has existed between Egypt and Israel, for example? Would allowing 300,000 Palestinians to 'return' to Israel be such a disaster?

(On a more disturbing note, is a settlement really a settlement if it has no real plan for how to deal with its sewage? Is that report accurate?)
