Hi Gang:

I watched the four hours of Presidential debates the other night.

Have you noticed the extent to which the Moderators control the debates...the questions asked ,and those not asked ,depending on which political party is debating ???

During the four hour debate an entirely different group of questions was asked of the Republicans than was asked of the Democrats.

Since the American voting public was asked to determine what the four or five most important problems are that needed to be solved ...why aren't the questions being confined to those problems ???

Maybe you don't see how the moderators are controlling the subject matters being discussed [or ignored]...but I sure as hell do.

I don't give a damn who can say "Change" more often in one sentence.

I want to hear specific answers to those questions the American people feel are most important to the American people.

Specific solutions to our problems ,not blue sky B.S.!!!

Yes, the same questions should be asked of each candidate. And, just to keep it fair, let them take turns as to who goes first on each question.

I think that's a little much to expect. The debates in the latest instance was sponsored, staffed, and aired by ABC. George Stephanopolous and Diane Sawyer doing the commentary. Shouldn't they determine the format? None of the candidates are obliged to show up, and many of the questions only apply to certain individuals based on their public statements and earlier answers, "Senator So-and-So, what did you mean when you referred to Governor Whatsis, as a buffoon and blowhard?"
Wouldn't it be a frustrating and boring debate if such statements and responses were ignored? And who is able to shut a politician up when he has a microphone in his face??
