Britain started the total changeover in October 2007 but the very last area will not be changed over completely until 2112.
Obviously every region has it already,either through a separate 'freeview' box or hard- wired into the set,and it has proved popular, but it's only now that it's becoming the only option
Is digital radio big in the US? Here it sells because there are so many stations, including BBC ones, that are only available in digital.That's more of an attraction then the other features of digital.
