misty45	Posted do any of you have chinchillas. are they hard to take care of. i have a lot of animals and i don't know how much time i could devote to them. my neighbors daughter wants to give away her chinchillas and i'm not sure whether to take them or not. thanks.

However, I found some information on having them as pets. It sounds at first like they require a bit of care, but one source says they're low maintenance.
