GRILLED CHEESE WITH QUATRO FORMAGGI

2 tbsp. unsalted butter
2 thick slices firm white bread ( or any bread of your choice)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 oz. Provolone, sliced
1 oz. Mozzarella, sliced
1 oz. Fontina, sliced
1/2 oz. Gorgonzola, crumbled

Spread one half of the butter on 1 side of each slice of bread. Sprinkle each buttered side with garlic powder. Layer the 4 cheeses between the unbuttered sides of the bread.
Grill the sandwich in a skillet over medium heat until both sides are golden brown.

I don't care for Gorgonzola but the fontina, mozzerella and provolone sound yummy on a grilled cheese. Smile

Another twist that works great is sprinkling grated parmesan cheese on both sides of the bread. (the sides that are going to be grilled) and it gives the bread this nice crunchy texture and it tastes really good.
