I have a Bell and Howwell Cassette recorder. Lately when I try to play a tape it shuts off before the tape is done, sometimes after only a couple of words. It seems to me the auto shut off is too sensitive. Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this so that I can play a tape? Thank you. Frown

Threeants, while I could not find your exact problem, I did find some places that you can contact in order to get the information that you are needing to get it running again. Here they are:

Direct communication with Bell reps 800-663-5523

Email info@sunstarco.com (they also use yahoo and AOL instant messenger)

Sorry I couldn't solve your problem, but hope this helps, somewhat. Smile

Does anyone sell new tape to tape decks for new sound systems. I think you can still buy a new record player, but you will pay a fortune for it.

I miss the tapes at times. I could throw them around the car and they would work just fine. CD's are a little more fussy about their treatjment. I don't think today's CD's are durable enough.

I'm sure they will change too. How long do you think it will take before we are replacing our CD players?
