Anyone know any good educational songs?

I am looking particularly for songs aimed at 14+years (so not Big Bird and Co !!) which would help remembering historical dates, science facts and maths methods.

Any ideas or recommendations gratefully received!!

In eighth grade, our science teacher played for us, "The Element Song." It was fun, but it wasn't a really good memory trick, more a list in musical form.

The Element Song

I learned the "Fifty Nifty United States" song in grade school, which is just singing the states in alphabetical order, but I wouldn't know how to tell you the tune.
It worked, though, because to this day I can still name all the states in order.
Be a cooler trick if I could name their capitals. Oh well. We can't have it all.

How about Istanbul (Not Constantinople) by They Might Be Giants

You could try a lot of the songs from the saturady morning cartoon show Animaniacs (and other shows like it). It was a really fun show too.

The Animaniacs have The Planets and the state/capital songs. They are for any age.
Schoolhouse Rock is good too!
