This is the closest category I could find in which to post this question. My future daughter-in-law has her heart set on everyday dishes in a deep burgandy color. We have searched the local department stores, I have looked at the Pfaltztgraff catalog---but to no avail. If anyone has ever seen anything like this or knows where I can buy a set of dishes like this, I would appreciate your input. Thank you so much.

I'd try here...they have a beautiful set in cranberry which is pretty close to burgandy, on the front page. They do hav burgandy place settings but it is an assortmant thing that comes with blue, gold & green...I didn't look at everything but saw these two things.

I'm looking at the back cover of the Crate & Barrel Holiday 2002 catalog. They have "Red Velvet Dinnerware" that appears to be burgundy or very deep cranberry red. A set of four dinner plates (11") sell for $51.95. A set of four salad-dessert plates sell for $43.95. They have charger plates that sell for 18.95.

The recommend their Brio stemware classes on the front cover to complete the look.
