Been there, done that. I've had results with soaking the ruined items in BIZ, perhaps along with CLOREX2 FOR COLORS. Of course, whites could be soaked in regular bleach, but CLOREX2 FOR COLORS does a great job on whites and all colors EXCEPT red and burgandy. I've learned to make certain NEVER to put red or burgandy in with any other colors or whites, ESPECIALLY if I'm adding a stain remover (BIZ, CLOREX2) to the load.
Now, red and burgandy do fine if soaked or washed with BIZ, but not with CLOREX2. Those are the only colors NOT to use CLOREX2 on, but BIZ is fine with them to remove stains.

My daughter's favorite white sports bra was in the wash with a pair of red socks. It came out with pink spots all over it, and she was devastated. I soaked her garment overnight in a very strong solution of Oxyclean and water. Since it was a small garment I did it in a jar, but if I had done it in the sink with a few things: I would have filled the sink about 1/2 way with warm water, add about 6-8 scoops of oxyclean and swirl to dissolve the powder. The instructions say to soak for 1-6 hours, but for tough stains I generally soak overnight. This stuff is amazing - There are very few stains that I haven't been able to take care of!
