If you wash your clothes and hang them on the line
afterwards how do you get lint and all off of them if you don't put them in the dryer? Is there something you can put in the washer that will help?

Yes, there is, it's called Downy. Don't use it if you have a septic tank. If your washer has a lint screen, make sure it's clean. Do you use soap powder? What you're seeing may be undissolved soap. Stick to the liquid.

You could also try one of those little sticky lint roller things after your clothes are dry. It's a godsend, especially for when I'm visiting my grandmother who has a hairy, hairy dog. smile
