I have cream color carpet and we have a fairly large blood stain. We tried to shampoo it out but it is still there. Does anyone have any idea how I could possibly get this out. Thank you.

Thanks, the stain is about 2 months old. I will try the ammonia thing. I am hoping it works. Thanks again.

Body? What body??
Kiding some one got cracked in the head and you all know how head wounds bleed. And no I did not do the cracking!!! I will spot test some of these methods so I don't end up with a big white spot.. Thank a bunch.

This is good for cleaning a good many things - I use it as a pre-treatment for my laundry. Worth a try.

i have a formula that works absolutly amazing if the other stuff you try dosent work.
3 tbsp. liquid dish soap
2 tbsp. white vinegar
1/2 tsp. amonia
3/4 cup water

you have to use the FOAM from this mixture.. beat it up with an old egg beater or (easier) buy a foaming container from the drugstore. foam the stuff onto the spot then rub getnle in a circular motion with a sponge...
the only problem with this is you might end up having to do your entire capret to make it match up to the clean spot :]
i did that with my sofa.. to remove an old oil stain and ended up doing the whole thing ;p

Try Cascade. If that doesn't work, lay a throw rug over it.

Catty (who has oatmeal carpet which without Cascade would have brown spots like a leopard) big grin wink smile
