I remember those days I worked in fast food for 3 years. I still remember that smell! To remove odor from fabrics time, air, soap and water, and ammonia in water are recommended. The use of white vinegar, dry-cleaning fluid or household chlorine bleach in a weak solution may remove odor from clothing. Of course bleach only if the uniform is white. Other recommended treatments include washing items with a strong soap, a heavy-duty liquid detergent, or borax. But you mentioned you already tried that. You could try burying the clothing in soil. Seems weird I know but I know someone who tried this and it actually worked. The fine particles of soil will absorb the odor, leaving the original article odor free. Kitty litter, sweeping compound, and other fine-particle materials should also work. Hope one of these might help...
