on our appliances I just use soapy water (dish soap) and then go over it with the same cloth rinsed out real well, then I dry with a clean dish towel....I clean homes foer a living and can tell you if you keep it up everyday it is way easier than if you leave it to once or twice a week....Some stuff I just can NOT seem to get off other peoples appliances, not sure if satinless steel is stainless to ALL things.

Also...rubbing alcohol is supposed to make stainless steel shine like new.

..or you could make Matt wear gloves!!!!!

Cut off his fingers????? Wink

No seriously though, there are:

*Olive Oil: Rub stainless steel sinks with olive oil to remove streaks.
* Vinegar: To clean and polish stainless steel, simply moisten a cloth with undiluted white or cider vinegar and wipe clean. Can also be used to remove heat stains on stainless steel cutlery.
* Club Soda: Remove streaks or heat stains from stainless steel by rubbing with club soda.

maddy, I have a stainless stove and found wet wipes at walmart that do the trick. They are in a simple wet wipes looking tube and all you do is wipe. No scrubbing or buffing is required. They are quite nice.
