DAG	Posted I have some vintage Christmas cards. Caused by humidity, the flaps on the envelopes have become sealed. Any ideas how to loosen the glue and reopen the envelopes? Thanks in advance.

clarebear Diamond Enthusiast Enthusiast of the Year	Posted Hide Post Boil a pot of water and hold the envelope over the steam. Pull the flap apart gently. It will reopen.

Georgia85 Diamond Enthusiast	Posted Hide Post Yeah, that'll work too...but might dissolve the glue and you won't be able to re-use them. I suggested placing them in the freezer in the other duplicate post. But Clare, your idea is a good one too!
