My wonderful waterbed sprung a leak! Thankfully my hubby caught it before we left for our vacation down the shore, which is really lucky - but. . . how do I find the little pinhole? We tried blowing it up with air and listening for it's escape route - to no avail. Anyone with any advice?

put towels around where you suspect the leak is. After drying of course. Then where ever you get a wet spot should be where the leak is. AT least it should narrow it down for you. You may consider getting a new matress. Free flowing matresses are cheap at Walmart.

Angela - that's a wonderful idea!

My son's waterbed sprang a leak one time while the rest of us were away for the weekend.
When we got back, he had used up all the towels trying to dry the carpet!

And the house smelled mildewy for two days!

(But I'd told him not to let the cat on his bed!
He never said "Aw - he won't hurt it" again!)

If it is filled with air, spray soapy water on it and look for the bubbles. My husband does this to find leaks in tires.
Good luck!
