Does anyone have a good way to keep woodpeckers from pecking holes in your country home? My neighbor has strips of foil strung across their eaves (I don't think so for us).

As for your question, I found it rather interesting. The answer too. We have woodpeckers that peck on the side of our house too. So I checked it out. Here is what I found.

Woodpeckers peck wood, as they should, to get
at insects in the wood. So, the problem, and
the solution is not getting rid of the woodpeckers,
but getting rid of their food source.

This site tells you to spray Demon WPinto the carpenter bee holes and on the wood of your house in the spring.

It also has remidies for wasps, termites, yellow jackets, speiders etc...Very helpful.
