I have an old Sadler teapot made in england that was my gramas, at least 100yrs. old, it has lines going all through it from wear but no cracks, is it safe to use and also would it have lead in it
I did some research and found the first ones were made using a red clay with a dark brown glazed surface. Although it may be safe, I wouldn't use it just because it's a family heirloom. What if it accidentally broke? It is irreplaceable.
