Other Chlorox questions in this forum remind me that I sometimes get a small amount of bleach on my hands leaving a chlorox odor that no degree of scrubbing can get rid of. Is there a way to neutralize the odor left by Chlorox on your skin?

Perhaps someone can provide a link about neutralizing other common odors!

There is always the sure fired remedy of wearing rubber gloves when you do your housework. But if you would rather work au natural then try this trick:
hydrogen peroxide, baking soda (not powder), and dish soap
Just mix equal parts in your hands and wash of with running water. It should neutralize the bleach odor.

Also...

Coldfuse, Walmart department store has it's own brand-name bleach. I think it performs just as well as Clorox and has less than half the odor.

(Good responses, Georgia and Frankvan)

Rub your fingers with freshly cut garlic.

By the way, how do you get the smell of fresh garlic off your fingers?
