twinhearts Silver Enthusiast	Posted Hide Post My grandmother says to put them in a plastic trash bag with a bunch of newspaper inside the boots and more around them. Then seal the bag up and wait. She says it can take a week or so. The newspaper should absorb the odor. I have done this with suitcases that have been stored in the basement. Good luck!
