I am currently looking for new Christian bands I can listen too... preferably hard rock bands/alternative/some rap.

I tend to like bands that are similar to Linkin Park, 3 Doors Down, 3 days grace, Nickelback, and a few others like them.

THIS BAND is really good! My daughter got their CD "Parade" for Christmas and rolled her eyes when she first opened it - but then listened to it and really enjoyed it.

Maybe try Blindside, too.

Pillar and Kutless are two that immediately come to mind. Also try Skillet--I love their song "Savior" that's been playing on Air1.

And of course, I would recommend Jeremy Camp to pretty much anyone--he's not necessarily the hard rock/alternative you were wanting, although there are some definite influences in some of his songs, but his album "Stay" is guaranteed to satisfy.

One of my favorite christian bands/artists is Mercy Me.
