Posted I am preparing a video for my mom's 75th birthday. I need some ideas on music to go along with the pictures. Some ideas I already have: the song that starts, "Memories, pressed between the pages of my life". . . I don't know the name of it, and a song that I think is by Paul Anka, I think it has been on a Kodak commercial. These are the types of songs I am looking for, sweet, sentimental, having to do with memories of a person's life. Any ideas anyone has will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

I think the song "Those Were The Days", sung by 2,3 singers; male and female (with my fav version being of Shirley Bassey)won't be a bad idea. It is relating to memories and I'm sure your Mom must've liked this song at 'some'point in time. I too can't seem to recall the memory song you are reffering to... Posted Hide Post Another good song for someone your mother's age is "(We Will Have These ) Moments to Remember." I think that the Four Freshmen version had the biggest hit with this, although I could be wrong. Your mother's age also suggests several Sinatra songs: "It was a Very Good Year" seems to be the most appropriate. Regarding the song "Those Were the Days, My Friend" - I like the Mary Hopkins version.
