i dont know if she has emerged on american radio yet, but if you get the chance, give this girl a listen. i personally cant stand her first single 'bye bye boyfriend', but i really like the rest of her album.
her lastest song 'take me away' is beyond catchy.

if she is as successful in the states as she is in canada, you wont be able to turn on the radio without hearing her.
She's broken through down here and she's getting some pretty good attention (I saw her on Mtv while she first came in). Her album was released here late last year and Take Me Away was the her first single. I've heard maybe two others and they all sound nice and catchy and they seem like good pop songs. For some reason, people compare her to Avril Lavigne but I think she's much better than her. She takes the mediocrity of Avril and makes it good. Her latest song here is Everything.
