Does anyone know the name of the first CD that Hootie released? I'm looking for a song they recorded, thinking it was one of their first hits.

Their earliest work is on Time (1991) and Hootie and the Blowfish (1991).

You're probably looking for the 1994 Cracked Rear View album, which wasn't their first album, but it was their first one with hits ["Hold My Hand" (#10), "Let Her Cry" (#9), "Only Wanna Be With You" (#6) and "Time"(#14)]. "Old Man & Me (When I Get To Heaven)"(#13) and "Tucker's Town"(#38) are on Fairweather Johnson ; "I Go Blind" (#13) is on the first Friends TV show soundtrack, and their last hit (so far) was "I Will Wait" (#18) from their Musical Chairs album.
