wysiwyg	Posted Hide Post I think that pop music can be in any style, for example, rock, r&b, jazz etc. The tendency is to make it conform to whatever is the current fashion in hits. Pop music is designed purely with the aim of achieving immediate popularity and vast sales. The ultimate goal of the singer is that the song will rise to number 1 in the charts to become the current 'top of the pops'.
