I am 4 months pregnant, and my two year old son and I are flying home next month for two weeks to visit the family (we are military stationed as far away from home as they could put us!) My husband can't go because of exercises - they aren't letting anyone go anywhere until the beginning of next year, and by then we'll have the new baby and won't want to travel.
So my question - we travel quite a bit, but this is the first time I have gone alone with my son. Usually when he gets bored my husband and I shuffle him back and forth to entertain him. I have ordered him some cloth busy books, and most of the flights are over night (we leave Alaska at 6:33 pm AST and arrive in Albany at 11:30 EST the next morning) but there will be a lot of down time where he's going to need entertainment.
Does anyone have any suggestions of things that won't annoy the crap out of my fellow passengers?
Thanks!

I know you are already in NY, and too late for this answer, but maybe someone else could use it... Keep the lil booger up all day and don't let him take a nap...Thats what my folks would do, and the young-uns would crap out all night....
