This Video is an alleged Fake(Edinburgh) 2006

Yet I can say Hand on Heart, I saw an Identical object Flying behind a Helicopter in about Spring 1969/1970 towards Blackburn (same speed)
I was on my way home from School. Size wise about the same size as the Helicopter. No Engine noise (Weather Good, lots of blue sky)
Location East Lancashire (Haslingden)

It Drifted by like a balloon
But It was Solid (Guessing a Plastic) Like 2 man Lunar lander

There were a lot of Helicopters in the Area (at that time) Laying Natural Gas Pipes across the Moors (Some Chinooks used for Lifting) yet this helicopter was a Small one Roll Eyes

You say that the object was "Flying behind a Helicopter". Could you hear the helicopter? If so, then isn't is possible that the sound of the helicopter made it impossible to hear the sound of what you saw? However, if you couldn't hear the helicopter, then isn't it possible that the sound of the object was not as loud as the sound of the helicopter, and thus not audible to you, just as the sound of the helicopter was not audible to you? I rarely hear the big passenger jets whose landing flight path is over my house, but I'm pretty sure that there are just regular earthlings aboard.

Looks like a helicopter. However, Bedstor (and I) can surely remember 'the flying bedstead' of the 1950s. It's reminiscent of one of those . The flying bedstead was an early attempt at a jet powered vertical take off (VTOL) aircraft, the ancestor of the Harrier jump jet.

It's a toad.
Toad caught in dust devil.
It's hard to estimate the size of an object when it's in mid-air and at some distance. Toads get caught in thermal updrafts all the time, you know, and sail for miles. The more they have puffed themselves up with air, begore takeoff, the farther they fly.
