I was wondering if anyone could offer a theme for my big biology project..I know i posted this under the "biology section" too, but I didn't know where it would be better? KK or forum moderators can gladly delete whichever one would be less "right."
I'm supposed to come up with a hypothesis, and do an experiment to prove it true or false. Its supposed to be REALLY involved.... Any ideas of something i could do with fish? Like "Varying of temperature will cause a change in the respiratory pattern of fish." Something like that? I'm not really interested in doing something with adding solutions of anything to plants...that sounds kind of boring to me...but I would like anything different about plants not adding stuff to the soil... Anything REALLY DIFFERENT would be fun too! (effects of color on homo sapiens...that was already done in our school...so i cant do it) I have a really nice microscope so any experiments with bacteria or something is good too |

Chica - I did some searching around - alot of what I found was probably too basic for what you need, but found a great site that lists a bunch of different experiments you can try.
The main site that lists several experiments: http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Hall/1410/lab-B-contents.html I really liked this one - Comparing Plant & Animal Cells. Since you have a microscope - this may be a good one for you. http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Hall/1410/lab-B-18.html If I see something else that may be useful for you, I'll post it as well. Should none of this information be of value - post another question and we'll go from there. Happy experimentation!!! |
